If you are interested in archery for marksmanship or as a family sport;  or,  if you are a hunter looking for a more challenging way to harvest a deer,  small game or a wild turkey, come and join our club!

We offer both indoor and outdoor target ranges as well as an outdoor 3D course.   indoor1

The indoor range is located in building A-78 and is open year round.   Archers can shoot from 10 to 30 meters in one of 2 galleries as well as fine tune their equipment.  Members can get together on selected evenings for some fun competitions and practice.  The range is usually available 24-7 for members and their sponsored guests.  To gain access to the indoor range, members can sign the key out at Range Control.

The outdoor range is located in Training Area "C",  just off the tank road near gate 29.  This range is also available year round (daylight hours only), although the road leading into it is not plowed in the winter.   Archers can shoot from 10 to 50 meters from both ground level and from an elevated platform.

The outdoor 3D course is located next to the regular outdoor range.  This is a 35 target course winding through a wooded area and features a variety of 3D animals.  The course is closed during the winter months.

To access both the outdoor range and the 3D course,  members must sign in with Range Control.  Range Control will issue a vehicle permit and a key to gate #29.   Members must raise the red range flag at the entrance to the outdoor range prior to any shooting.  There is also a red range flag at the entrance to the 3D course that must be raised if the course is in use.

To archery hunt on the Base, members must register their tree stands with the Archery Director, giving the coordinates of the stand.   This policy ensures that members don't place their stands too close to another members location.

If you have any questions, please contact the Archery Director, Wayne Seymour or the Assistant Director, Jim Malcolm.
