Attention All Hunters:

The Ministry is gathering information about the harvesting of fish, turkey and migratory birds on Base and to that end, you will find forms covering each type of activity at Range Control.  We ask that all participants complete the forms to the best of their ability, even if you are unsuccessful.  This will assist the Ministry in it's survey of what, where and how many species are being harvested as well as what pressure we are putting on these resources.

Thank you for your cooperation

As an avid hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman and your Hunting Director for the Base Borden Rod and Gun Club,  I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the area and invite you to take part in the Hunting club at CFB Borden.

The Base has approx 81 square kilometres of prime wildlife habitat where deer, turkey, rabbits and birds of all species inhabit.  The area offers the hunter and outdoors person a great challenge and rewarding hunt with many animals and birds to view and choose from.

Our lodge (sugar shack) offers a relaxing atmosphere, where you can sit back and listen to the tales about the big one that got away over a barbecue and refreshments.  The Controlled Deer hunts normally take place the first week in November and a the first week of December.   In early spring you can suit up and try your luck for turkeyIf you are interested in hunting at Base Borden,  I offer my services to help get you on your way and I look forward to meeting you in the future.  To all existing members of the Base Borden Rod & Gun Club,  I wish you good luck and happy hunting on the upcoming hunts and activities. turkey
