** GLEN MILLER **
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Glen Miller, a long-standing collaborator and distinguished member of our club, last Sunday May 5th, after a long battle with illness. Glen held several key positions within the club, serving most recently as the director of hunting. His passion for hunting and his contributions to our community have left an indelible mark.
He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know and work with him. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends during these difficult times.
Glen’s family wishes to extend an offer to join them on Saturday May 11, 10:00am-2:00pm for a celebration of life!
They are hosting at the Senior NCO Mess, 201 Falaise Rd Borden, ON.
The BBRGC will be awarding Glen some trophies at 10:00am so they may be displayed throughout the celebration.
This is an open invitation to anyone who would like to pay their respects. The Rod and Gun Club meant the world to Glen and he would sincerely appreciate anyone that takes their time to celebrate everything he meant to the club.
** REMINDER **
ARCHERY ANTLERLESS AND CONTROLLED DEER HUNT DRAW
Anyone wanting to hunt archery for antlerless deer needs to apply for the antlerless deer draw on the Ontario Hunt and Fish website for WMU 77. If hunters are unsuccessful in the antlerless draw, they can still hunt during the archery season for bucks with their general deer licence. The antlerless deer draw opens March 1st and closes June 30th with results available August 1st. Controlled Deer Hunt
To participate in the CDH you must apply individually on the Ontario Hunt and Fish website for WMU 77A. You can apply from July 1 to July 31, 2024. Results are available Sept 1st.

Membership Renewal Now Open for 2024-2025!
We are excited to announce that all types of membership renewals for the Base Borden Rod and Gun Club are now open as of April 1st. Renew your membership today to ensure you can participate in all club activities, including shooting qualifications and other events.

The Base Borden Rod & Gun Club is located on Canadian Forces Base Borden, in the heart of South-Central Ontario.
CFB Borden offers a host of opportunities for many to enjoy the outdoor activities available within the Base and surrounding areas. The Rod & Gun Club provides the facilities, assistance and camaraderie to take advantage of these opportunities.
